A Message From Ergon’s CEO
As a family-owned business, Ergon takes a long-term, multigenerational approach that strengthens our business family culture that supports the success and sustainability of our employees, customers and communities for generations to come.
Our commitment to helping customers meet sustainability requirements is reflected in product innovation across our organization. Working with a leading global provider of sustainable performance solutions, we assessed greenhouse gas emissions at every Ergon location worldwide. The assessment verified our previous internal analysis of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions and guides our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint. Dedicated teams have identified projects to reduce carbon intensity and improve energy efficiencies.
In 2025, Ergon also completed a Double Materiality Assessment as well as our first report aligned with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The TCFD-aligned report evaluated climate-related risks and opportunities through a climate-scenario analysis examining the potential effects of changing weather patterns, water availability, evolving technologies, customer expectations and regulatory developments. Topics identified through both efforts will continue to inform our sustainability strategy.
Our latest Doing Right Report provides tangible evidence of our commitment to making a positive impact across our products, planet, people and principles. As we move forward, we will continue working toward clear sustainability targets and turning our commitments into action.
